It’s Been A Minute

Well, now. It sure has been a while since I’ve posted here. I’ve just moved to a statically-generated site. Now the content is simple markdown, which is generated into HTML using Jekyll; and those static pages are hosted and served on AWS.

I hope this setup will be immune to the constant cycle of software and security updates that sapped my will to use WordPress.

I have also dramatically simplied the theme and layout. A dumb blog doesn’t really need much more.

I missed having a place to post since leaving twitter a few years ago. Perhaps this will scratch that itch again. Or not. 🤷‍♂️
