Bluetooth in XP SP2

I finally have a reason to be excited about the upcoming release of Windows XP Service Pack 2, other than my usual cynical hopes that they finally remove the big “PLEASE CRACK ME” sign from the side of the box. What could excite a jaded customer like myself? How about a unified Bluetooth stack and corresponding standardized API?

Apparantly, SP2 is going to finally add real support for Bluetooth to XP; something that OSX and Linux have had down pat for at least a year now. The first thing I’m going to write is my own rendition of BluePhoneMenu. I wonder if the API will be managed or not…
