Back in Virginia
Hedda and I returned this evening from a whirlwind trip back to the midwest. It’s crazy trying to fit in family, friends, and driving (curse you, Ohio!) all in a five-day weekend trip home. The lesson learned from all this is that the cost-benefit analysis doesn’t justify going home for only three days of quality time with loved ones. I guess that means all future trips will be at least a week. Fortunately, that doesn’t mean I have to miss work for a week. That’s why I got a laptop in the first place.
On a side note, every time I drive home, I am constantly amazed by my ability to access the Internet while driving 80 mph on the Penna Turnpike. GPRS is so freakin’ cool.
