It’s hard to pick a more appropriate fruit to represent Marion Barry than the marionberry – it’s his freakin’ name! If somebody happens to takes offense that it’s a blackberry, which just so happens to have the word black in it, then I will laugh at that person for being hyper-sensitive.

Yep, happens in my install too. I have retail boxed upgrade of Windows Home Premium 64 bit installed. This is on laptop that was upgraded from windows Vista 32 bit. Pretty Amusing.

My couple gripes:

The explorer corner search thinger is actually WORSE than the one that Vista had. At least on Vista, you could get to an advanced pane that gave you control over the dumb defaults. In 7 I can’t find any way to do this.

And as great as the task bar is’ it has some fairly rookie problems. When it fills, the icon blocks should shrink (like object dock) instead of scrolling uselessly like they do. And the systray icon management interface obviously didn’t go through enough real life usability testing.

It would be awesome if DDOT painted a big bike symbol on their hood and windshield, a la the armadillo road paint gag.
